The Canada Store in Mackinaw City, Michigan
Located in the beautiful village of Mackinaw City, Algoma Country's Canada Store has been welcoming visitors since June 1999. For over 10 years, the Canada Store has been providing potential travelers to Canada with tourism and border crossing information for visiting Algoma. This interactive Canadian Vacation tourist information centre offers maps, brochures, travel guides, internet and direct-dial phones to make reservations quickly and easily.
Upon entering this cosy shop situated in Mackinaw City's outdoor shopping mall, "Mackinaw Crossings", visitors will be welcomed by Mac the Moose - a 7 foot tall moose dressed appropriately in a Canadian Mountie uniform, as well as witness Murphy the Muskie - a replica of the largest muskie caught in Northern Ontario waters, mounted on the wall. Guests to our Canada Store can find the finest in "CANADIANA" souvenirs and goods: clothing apparel, maple syrup products, keepsakes and treasures. In April 2007, we welcomed our 1, 000, 000 visitor!
